Description

Construction of a single-family home designed by Miel Arquitectos and developed by our team. With a built area of 625 m², the project stands out for its contemporary architecture in exposed concrete, strong geometric lines, and a meticulous integration into the topography of the site.

This single-family home rises like a watchtower on one of the slopes of Costa d’en Blanes, seeking panorámica views of the Bay of Palma. As with any watchtower, the ascent begins at its base: a gentle landscaped ramp leads to a covered cloister surrounded by arcades of glass and ceramic.

The house is organized over three floors plus a landscaped roof. The basement level contains the vehicular access, parking for four vehicles, the entrance hall, waste room, and the vertical circulation core with lift and staircase.

On the level above, the four bedrooms open towards the Bay of Palma through a covered terrace that protects them from solar radiation, crowned by a subtle constellation of skylights. One floor higher, the watchtower culminates in a glazed pavilion and a spacious terrace that merges with an infinity pool, extending the views to the horizon. On one side of the pavilion, the dining area overlooks the entire valley while opening onto the pool; on the opposite side, the living room extends towards the mountain and softens its south-facing façade under the shade of a warm pergola.

Between these two poles of comfort lies an open kitchen, fully connected to the surrounding spaces. In front of it, the glazed pavilion slides open, allowing the terrace to be “conquered” in the style of an elegant beachfront chiringuito — a beach perched atop a watchtower overlooking an endless sea. The surrounding garden enhances the richness of the Mediterranean forest from which Costa d’en Blanes emerges.

The result is a construction of high technical and aesthetic standards, combining precision, functionality, and seamless integration with its natural setting.
