Summer is just around the corner and June in Mallorca promises an agenda full of exciting activities and cultural events for all tastes. From music and art festivals to local markets and sporting events, here are the best plans to enjoy the island this month.

Saturday, 1st June

V Raïm Wine Festival in Porreres

The 5th edition of the Raïm Wine Festival, held in Porreres, is an event dedicated to wine lovers and local culture. This festival offers a unique experience to taste a wide variety of wines produced in the region, accompanied by cultural activities, live music and Mallorcan gastronomy. Are you going to miss it?

VIII edition AfterSun Fest

AfterSun Fest has earned the reputation of being the best pop-up market in the Balearic Islands, standing out for its innovative mix of art, fashion, gastronomy and music. This unique event is held in Port Adriano, creating a festive atmosphere full of creativity. What really sets this fair apart is the contribution of 27 talented urban artists, whose murals on shipping containers transform the space into an open-air gallery. This year's special guest is the renowned artist Joan Aguiló, come and explore the market and enjoy all the concerts and food trucks that await you!

World Environment Day

Celebrate World Environment Day by taking part in the activities organised in various locations around the island. From beach clean-ups to educational workshops, it's a great way to help care for Mallorca's natural environment.

Origen Fest

Origen Fest Mallorca kicks off in June, marking the start of a series of incredible electronic music performances that will run over the next few summer months: 7 July and 4 and 31 August. The Dream Island Festival

Mallorca Live Festival

The Mallorca Live Festival is one of the most outstanding music events on the island, held annually in the former Aquapark in Calvià. This festival is characterised by its mix of musical genres, including rock, pop, electronic and urban music, attracting international and local artists on up to 5 different stages. Saturday, 22nd of June

Marrockxi 2024

This event offers pop, rock, indie and other bands the opportunity to perform at a festival, promoting artistic and musical creation. It also seeks to energise the young population and encourage citizen participation. This year, the festival will feature the outstanding performance of O'Funk'*Illo as headliner, promising an unforgettable night. Don't miss it!


From Saturday 22nd to Saturday 29th June

Mallorca Championships

The Mallorca Championships 2024 returns from the 22nd to the 29th of June at the Santa Ponsa Tennis Club. This prestigious ATP 250 tournament is a key stop before Wimbledon, attracting top international tennis players to battle it out in a setting of luxury and Mediterranean beauty. Enjoy a week full of top-level tennis, a festive atmosphere and the chance to see your favourite players in action.


The night of Sunday 23rd to Monday 24th of June

Sant Joan's Night

Sant Joan's Night is one of the most magical festivities of the year in Mallorca. The island is lit up with bonfires on the beaches, fireworks and night-time celebrations. The beaches of Palma, Alcudia and Cala Ratjada are some of the most popular places to celebrate this magical night. Don't forget to bring some food and drink to enjoy a picnic under the fireworks.

Deià International Music Festival

The Deià International Music Festival is an annual event that attracts world-renowned musicians. Starting in June, you can enjoy classical music concerts in the beautiful surroundings of the village of Deià. Check out the programme here so that you don't miss any of the scheduled performances.


Saturday, 29th June

Festival of Sant Pere

The Sant Pere festivities, held at the end of June, mark the start of summer in Mallorca, paying homage to the patron saint of sailors. Municipalities such as Port d'Alcúdia, Port de Pollença and Colònia de Sant Pere organise maritime processions, parades, open-air dances and gastronomic events, with the popular sardinada being the highlight.

In Port d'Alcúdia, a maritime procession with decorated boats is held on 29th June. In Port de Pollença and Colònia de Sant Pere, cultural and sporting activities complement the festivities, including the Mercadet de Sant Pere and dance exhibitions.

Esporles and Búger also take part with markets, open-air cinema and open-air dances, offering a varied festive programme for everyone.

 

Sunday, 30th June

Patron saint festivities of Marratxí

The patron saint festivities of Marratxí are held on the 30th of June. They are the most important festivities in the municipality and one of the first summer festivities in Mallorca.

There is no doubt that June is a vibrant and energetic month in Mallorca. With so many activities and events, there is something for everyone. Make the most of this month and enjoy all that our beautiful island has to offer!
